E-Mobility
Tesla’s mission is to accelerate the worldwide transition to sustainable energy.
Tesla was founded in 2003 by a group of engineers who wanted to prove that consumers didn’t need to compromise to drive electric – that electric vehicles can be better, quicker and funnier to drive than gasoline cars. Today, Tesla builds not only full-electric vehicles but also infinitely scalable clean energy generation and storage products. Tesla believes the faster the society stops relying on fossil fuels and moves towards zero-emission, better will be the future.

The world’s largest electric truck engineered in Switzerland
The world’s largest electric vehicle with an empty weight of 58 tons, a payload of 65 tons has been christened “Lynx” in the presence of numerous representatives from business and politics and has been working in the quarry of Vigier Ciment. The eDumper is the largest and most powerful battery-powered electric wheeled vehicle in the world and never before has a comparable vehicle been able to save such a large amount of CO2. According to preliminary calculations, the vehicle will save up to 1,300 tonnes of CO2 and 500,000 litres of diesel over the next 10 years. The project is supported by the Swiss Federal Office of Energy (SFOE).
